Gerrard, 36 years, strengthening the Galaxy since the summer of last year.

Former Liverpool skipper played 39 times with the Galaxy and pack five goals and 15 assists.

On several occasions, Gerrard gestured want to retire this year. He reportedly will return to Liverpool coaching staff.

Meanwhile, Keane grazing in MLS with the Galaxy since 2011 ago. Republic of Ireland striker is regarded as very successful and

contributed 104 goals in 165 matches. He drove three times the Galaxy into the MLS champions.

Keane, who is also 36 years old, claimed to be happy to survive in MLS.

However, he also did not rule out the possibility to continue his career elsewhere.

“We are honored to have Stevie and Robbie here and hope they can continue to be part of our club, but time will tell,” said

Galaxy coach Bruce Arena told AFP.

“I have not talked with them. We must give them the opportunity to comment on what they want to do in the future, rather

than me talking right now,” said Arena.

“The season has just finished. We need a little time for reflection. I am sure Stevie and Robbie at a convenient time to discuss

their future,” he said.
